On Sunday, December 4th 2011, we have hosted the second Drupal Meetup in our offices in Amman. The attendees were quite experienced with Drupal, and were able to discuss interesting topics and come up with clever Drupal-related ideas. What's more important, is that it was a great chance for them to exchange their knowledge and experience with Drupal. There were four different presentations in this event, one about different Drupal tips by Khaled Zaidan. The second one was about Drupal 6 Vs. Drupal 7 by Mohammed Abdel Qader.

Again it was the 1st Sunday of an even month, it was the 5th of February 2012 and we had the third Drupal meetup in Amman in our office in Shmeisani. This time we concentrated on doing less presentations and more workshops, to find solutions for Drupal problems developers are facing in their daily life. We started with a presentation done by Shadi Alyan about caching in Drupal, where people got the chance to ask some question and talk about some of their experiences in this topic. After that we split into three groups, where every group made a small workshop about a different topic.

 

It was time to revive the Drupal community in Jordan, so our team decided to take the initiative of organizing the first Drupal meetup of the year 2011 in Amman.

 

The meetup took place on October 2^nd 2011 in our company offices in Amman. It was a great opportunity for the local Drupal community to gather, meet each other, exchange knowledge and simply socialize. Newbies were introduced to Drupal and got the chance to get involved with the Drupal community.
