Living Classic — Music Community

Living Classic is an online community for classical music. Musicians, event organizers, agents, fans and music enthusiasts use the platform for social networking, promoting themselves, finding new talents and simply enjoying music. Members can upload their music recordings, listen to recordings and rate them, participate in online competitions, buy music merchandise and watch videos of concerts live or on demand . The platform is based on Drupal. Servit wrote concept and specification for the customer and developed a first alpha version as proof of concept. After an evaluation and testing phase the beta version of this platform was launched in March 2010. Servit is responsible for operation and maintenance of the platform which is hosted on a virtual server infrastructure in the Computing Cloud of Amazon Web Services. The system scales automatically to increased user traffic and is able to handle sudden load peaks.
